yikes! i suck...

i put on 700g so an overall loss of 300g.

i thought i hadnt been too bad..and then i actually sat down and worked out all the things i had that i shouldnt have

2x steak salad n chips at a pub(different nights  )

hungry jacks(whopper junior and small fries)

fish n chips(2potato cakes and 2 dim sims)

..so obviously i hadnt been paying attention...

so new plan

write everything down and dispay in a prominent spot..

i cant be too sad about the gain tho..and im still less than when i first started..im about to be able to actually do some running so that should help :D :D

This one is going to be a GOOD week..i even went and did a big shop for the first time in 7 weeks(cos of back..could only carry a couple of things) so now i have more healthy stuff at home..oops ESSAY

well done jakay..good to see you so motivated about the gym

This weeks result - 2.0 kg - total so far 6kg. Happy as getting near to fitting back into the work slacks that i have 3 pair of, i have been restricted in recent months to only ONE pair and since i refused to buy more large ones and wait till i fit back in the old ones it will be a relief to fit them again - hopefully in next two weeks! :D

Main challenge this week was at a friends house where bikkies and cheese, crisps, pizza and popcorn were on the menu (potential disaster!) - managed to restrict myself to one handful of crisps, 2 slices of pizza and just water and diet coke so wasn't too bad!

Next weeks challenge - lots of social challenges including 2 dinners with new man and his friends, don't want to appear unsociable by not eating/drinking along with them! :? Still he suggested a bike ride on Warby Trail so this should even out some calories (yay a man happy to exercise with me! :D )

A loss of 300g this week so the grand tally of 500g overall. Slowly, slowly wins the race

Geez Joey, you're putting us all to shame here! Good work :D

What's your secret?

Did I miss something? Was there a prize up for grabs for the 'Biggest Loser'?

Thanks MPB! - no prize as far as i know, just the satisfaction that i am getting back on track towards achieving my goals, thanks to the support of all you guys! :D

Really i have just tried to be super good during week and minimize slip ups on the weekend. Also ordered in some lite'n'easy dinners for nights i can't be bothered cooking (which is most) and working on making better choices when i eat out. Also as much exercise as i can although could still be doing more there!

Forgot to mention this week not off to great start as client brought in about 10 fresh baked choc chip cookies, 4 gone already, strongly suspect the others won't see out the day!  Still feel i deserve a treat!

Should point out that MAJOR reason i appear to be doing so well is 'cos i still have a lot to lose (another 26 kg to go!) so this may help you all understand why it's going a lot quicker for me. Most of you are only needing to lose under 10 kg to goal and these are always the hardest to lose.

If we ran it like they did on The Biggest Loser as a percentage of total body weight lost there is no way my results would look so good....

Well done Joey, you're killing this challenge! I am glad I don't have access to scales, and not looking forward to when I do.

Whether your starting weight was 50 or 150kgs, 6kg as a percentage of that is still awesome in the space of a couple of weeks.

Keep it up :D

Things going to hell in a hand basket on so many fronts for me this week, which means good food and exercise seem the lowest priority. According to weigh in I am back to ground zero with +500g for the week.

this will sound weird..but its probably a good thing that I put on weight this week..last week i ate like complete crap and still lost weight... whereas this will give me a kick up the A..and already it has made me make better choices...

..although i cut up a whole heap of carrots and celery which were in the car for snacks..I ate soooooooooo many it was insane..... i had stomach pains in the pool tonight..but if im filling up on those two..then its all good!

we lost our squash GF... not that i could play...

oh well i got a runners up glass..again..maybe i should have a vodka

No change for me this week. I've been down with the flu for most of the week which means laying around watching DVD's and eating things I shouldn't.

Up and fighting again now. Back on track with the training and the diet I planned for myself last week.

I'm going to pull out. I'm off on holiday next week, plus I'm just not in the right frame of mind to focus on both exercise and nutrition at the moment.

I'm just going to try to eat sensibly while I'm away, and exercise when I can, then plan an attack when I return.

Good luck to you guys!

ok beetroot face.. best of luck...

eating sensibly and exercising sounds like a good plan of attack anyway..

y not forget the weight thing and just post every now and again with how the healthy eating is going..not always about weight..about feeling fit and healthy..i for one would be keen to know how u are going :)

..also my weight fluctuation is ridiculous,...had weigh in been today..then i would have stayed the same weight as last week..i wonder if i could cheat and use that one  just kidding..wednesdays are my day!

I've somehow managed to lose another kilo, putting me at 84kg (-2kg). Very pleased with that, but given that i've done very little exercise over the past fortnight and my diet hasn't really changed much, I'm not sure I can take much credit. Certainly an honourable mention is due to lady luck.

OK, for the sake of my mental health I will skip my weigh in today (2 days late, no scales in my hotel room in sydney).

It is that T.O.M and I am retaining more water than a camel so it is pointless me getting on the scales again until next Wednesday.

well i tried to make better choices.. when i had a midnite craving on way home from drinks..started way early at 5pm, had a sandwich for dinner and well there was always going to be a food stop..

at least the choice was souvlaki... and i asked for only a tiny bit of the garlic/mayo..sauce..he really didnt smother it so that was something..and it also meant ..no souvlaki sauce stains on my nice new jacket :)

i guess if id been really good..i would have asked for half meat...but thats just pushing the friendship too far

OMG this week not going so well.....

Out to dinner Thursday night - ordered greek lamb salad and they brought me greek lamb PIZZA instead, which i proceeded to eat 'cos by then i was really hungry and somehow it seemed less sinful when it wasn't my doing!-followed by a couple of drinks...

Last night had a yummy lamb roast, but was big meal including potatos, pumpkin and gravy, followed by (ahem..) 3/4 of a BOTTLE of ouzo  -BIG NIGHT.....

Followed by hangover brekky of sausage and egg mc muffin and 2 hash browns ....

3 days to redeem myself but extra "weekend" day plus dinner out tuesday night to come, aiming to get in some decent exercise sessions in next few days so will be interesting to see the outcome for the week
